Child Care, Protection and Restoration
The Mother Wisdom Child Care and Development Foundation (Mother Wisdom) Child Care, Protection and Restoration Program provides holistic care and protection to vulnerable, orphaned, disadvantaged, and street-connected children. We respond to children’s immediate needs while supporting their emotional, social, educational, physical, and spiritual well-being.
Child Protection & Safeguarding
Promoting children’s safety, dignity, and rights and responding to situations of neglect, abuse, exploitation, and vulnerability.
Street Children Outreach & Engagement
Building relationships with street-connected children, assessing their needs, providing basic support, and connecting them to appropriate care and protection services.
Rescue & Safe Care
Providing temporary care for children facing unsafe or harmful living conditions, and connecting them to appropriate child protection services.
Family Tracing & Reintegration
Working with families and relevant stakeholders to support safe and sustainable reunification of children with their families where this is appropriate.
Psychosocial Care & Mentorship
Helping children recover from trauma, build confidence, develop healthy relationships, and regain hope and a sense of belonging.
Basic Needs & Holistic Support
Providing food, clothing, hygiene, shelter, education support, healthcare referrals, and other essential assistance according to individual needs.
Child & Family Strengthening
Working with caregivers and families to address challenges that place children at risk and promote safe, nurturing home environments.
Spiritual Nurture & Discipleship
Providing Christ-centered mentorship, prayer, biblical teaching, and guidance that helps children develop faith, character, wisdom, and hope.
Through this program, Mother Wisdom walks alongside vulnerable children from crisis and vulnerability toward safety, restoration, stability, and purposeful development, ensuring that every child is treated with dignity and supported to realize their God-given potential.
A Day of Compassion
There are moments when meeting a child’s immediate need can become the beginning of something much greater.
On this special day, we spent time with street-connected children, sharing a meal and creating a space where they could feel seen, valued and welcomed.
For us, feeding a child is not simply about providing food. It is an opportunity to build relationships, listen to their stories and connect them with the care, protection and support they need.
Every encounter is an opportunity to restore dignity, build trust and open a pathway toward hope.
